May 18, 2010 - Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.- Ride of Silence, White Rock Lake - West Lawther Drive and Branchfield Drive - Silent and slow memorial ride (less than 12 MPH) that began at White Rock Lake in 2003, and now takes place all over the country, and world. Only event to ever take place on the same day, at the same time. Organized by volunteers without a cash flow. Draws between 2,000-3,000 riders.
